Basement Pool Table Ideas
Having a pool table at home is such a great and fun idea for all ages of the host and guests. Actually, these days teenagers and young adults are luckier than their 18th-century peer’s when billiards was only the favorite sport of the moneyed elite. Basement pool table ideas need to match with the basement decoration and design and also show their personality.

Basement Pool Room Styles
Just like home decoration styles, basement pool tables have their own matching styles. The most common styles are Victorian, Rustic, Mid Century, Farmhouse, Contemporary, Craftsman Style.
Basement Blue Pool Table Fabric Color Selections
There is a wide selection of colors from black to very light cream tones. Unfortunately, even the black and cream looks beautiful and matches without hesitation with any home decor, they both are not suitable for playing billiards.
Black has the darkest shadows which makes the pockets almost invisible when playing and lucky number 8 is not easily recognizable. By the same shadow rule, bright colors bring extra brightness and may cause some headaches while combined with the basement lighting.
Basement Billiard Table Surface Ideas
A playfield, billiard cloth, and playing surface are the common name of the basement pool table surface fabric. It is also mostly called felt and felt can be made out of real wool or polyester.
The standard colors are red, royal blue, and green for pool tables. Other colors are burgundy, black, purple, slate blue, electric blue, spruce, sage, navy blue, charcoal, gray, camel, and cream respectively.
